We believe in a second life for every device. Since 2019 we have been buying ex-lease refurbished Lenovo ThinkPads and refurbished desktops up, testing them down to the details and reselling them with a warranty — no random wholesale trading, but one specialism we know down to the bone.
Reusing raw materials is essential to keep our planet livable for future generations. Every laptop we send on its way again is one that does not have to be newly produced.
A shop that sells everything does not really know anything well. By limiting ourselves to Lenovo's business lines we know exactly what we have in our hands — and what goes wrong when it goes wrong.

Because we carry one brand, we have screens, keyboards, batteries and casings in stock — the same ThinkPad parts that you can also order separately from us. A repair therefore rarely has to wait for delivery.
No anonymous service point abroad. Calling or emailing leads to the same people who checked and prepared your laptop.
Every machine goes through the same five steps before it leaves the door. No exceptions.
Large companies usually lease their ThinkPads for one to four years. When the contract ends, we buy them up and sort them by signs of use and configuration.
Processor, memory, storage, battery, hinges, ports and screen go through Lenovo's official diagnostic software. What does not pass is replaced or does not go on sale. How we translate the outcome into a grade you can read at the condition of our laptops.
The storage is irrecoverably erased with certified software. No data from a previous owner ever comes with it — and yours stays yours.
The machine is cleaned inside and out. Worn keyboards, batteries or casing parts we replace from our own stock.
Windows or Linux is installed and activated, so you can get started right away. By default you get two years of warranty, extendable to four — the terms are in our warranty policy.
In development
Since 2024 we have been working with colleagues to automate those five steps further. Reading out the battery condition — the remaining capacity and the number of charge cycles — and the processing of those measured values will soon go straight from the machine to the product page. Less retyping, less chance of errors, and for you a number you can trust.

A laptop that keeps running does not need to be made again. That is the whole idea behind refurbishment — and the gain is mainly at the front end.
The largest part of a laptop's CO₂ emissions arises during production, not during use. Keeping an existing device running longer therefore makes far more difference than being frugal with electricity.
Every laptop contains copper, aluminium, cobalt, lithium and a little gold. Each of them scarce and with heavy extraction. Reuse keeps those materials in the chain instead of in the waste pile.
Discarded electronics is one of the fastest growing waste streams in the world. Every ThinkPad we refurbish and resell only disappears from view three to five years later — or goes another round after that.
Refurbished has long ceased to be an emergency measure for those on a tight budget. Increasingly it is a conscious choice in the purchasing policy of companies, government organisations and education. We have separate routes for that:
Circular entrepreneurship, as far as we are concerned, is not only about devices. Refurbishment is work with clear, repeatable steps — and therefore suitable for colleagues for whom an ordinary job does not come naturally.
In the coming years we want to expand our team further with people with an occupational disability or a distance to the labour market. Testing, cleaning, swapping parts and getting things ready to ship: it is varied work that you can learn step by step, at your own pace.

From a registration at the Chamber of Commerce to well over fifteen hundred rated orders — via our own webshop and the large platforms.
The company is registered on 14 January 2019 under Chamber of Commerce number 73835420 and starts trading in used ThinkPads.
Qwerty-tech.nl is registered and the stock goes online, with its own workshop and warehouse behind it.
Since 5 February 2021 we have been a member of WebwinkelKeur. ICT Waarborg and Trusted Shops followed later, each with its own dispute resolution scheme.
Besides our own webshop our stock appeared on bol.com and we were admitted to the Amazon Renewed programme — with its own requirements for the quality of refurbished equipment.
Together with colleagues we are building the automatic reading out and processing of measured values, starting with the battery capacity and the number of charge cycles.
Still the same specialism, still the same way of working — and an average of 9.4 across three independent review platforms.
