IT Take Back is the taking back of business IT equipment that your organisation no longer uses. We discuss which devices you want to offer, any residual value, the handover and whether data erasure is needed. After that the agreed processing follows: sale to other buyers or recycling. Devices from this take-back service are not sold in our own webshop.

You can offer business laptops and desktop computers. Do you also have docking stations, chargers or other IT equipment? Include these in your overview. We assess in advance which devices and accessories we can take. The service is intended for business parties from ten devices.

Yes. Even without a new purchase we can take in your business equipment and dispose of it responsibly. Devices from this take-back service are not sold through our own webshop. Depending on the batch they are recycled or sold to other buyers.

Yes, in many cases we can collect the batch from your organisation. We agree the location, quantities, planning and any costs in advance. Do you have fewer than ten devices? Please contact us first to discuss whether an exception is possible. If we accept a smaller batch, we preferably receive it by post, as this is usually cheaper than collection.

We do not sell these devices on our own website. For our webshop we select equipment based on usage history and condition; a device that has been used intensively for two years in a row, for example, does not fit within that selection. Equipment taken in may however be suitable for other buyers. Depending on the batch we choose between sale to other buyers or recycling. We agree on any data present before the handover.

No, but do state defects clearly. The condition of the equipment counts in the assessment of the batch.

You can offer a mixed batch for assessment. State per brand and model how many devices you have and what condition they are in. Don't have a full overview? Then send the available information and a few photos.

We assess the equipment on brand, model, specifications, age and condition. Defects, missing parts and supplied accessories can also affect the value. With a device list and clear photos we can make an initial estimate in advance. We agree when the assessment and any compensation become final.

Compensation depends on the equipment, condition and agreed work. We discuss the terms and the assessment before you hand over the batch.

State which chargers and accessories are present and what is missing. That way we can include this in the assessment and any compensation. Also indicate whether you want to offer docking stations or other related equipment.

Before the handover we agree whether we erase the data for you. For this we work with Blancco and erase according to NIST guidelines. After a successful erasure you receive an erasure certificate that is viewable per machine. We include the work and any costs in the proposal. Make a backup beforehand of data you want to keep.

Yes, we can carry out the data erasure at your location before the devices are taken away. That can be useful when your organisation wants to keep confidential data within its own environment. We agree the facilities, planning and handover in advance with your contact person.

Make sure files you want to keep are secured and that it is clear which devices may be handed over. Also discuss any BIOS passwords, account locks and registration in device management, such as Intune or Autopilot. We agree in advance what your IT department must remove or release.

We set the compensation, the moment it becomes final and the payment term in advance. That way you know before the handover how the assessment and payment will proceed.
