Webcam.

A webcam is a small camera that is usually built into the top edge of laptop screens. This camera makes it possible to make video calls and record videos.

This is particularly handy for online meetings, virtual lessons, or chatting with friends and family via video.

For many users the webcam is an essential part of the laptop, especially in a time when working from home and online communication are becoming ever more common. A good webcam provides clear and sharp images, which improves communication.
