Screen quality.

Mid-range:

A laptop with a mid-range display is mainly suitable for internet, email and word processing. These laptops usually have a resolution lower than Full HD, which makes these laptops less suitable for, for example, watching films in Full HD or editing photos.

But also Full HD screens with a TN panel fall into this class, which are in fact suitable for gaming, for example. Entry-level displays are found mainly in cheaper laptops and laptops with small screens.

• A screen with a resolution lower than Full HD (1920x1080)
• Usually a TN or otherwise a VA panel.

High quality:

High-quality laptop screens offer a screen resolution of at least 1920 x 1080, also known as Full HD. This makes them ideal for tasks such as video and photo editing, gaming and watching films. The image quality of these laptops is sharper than that of entry-level laptops, especially when they are equipped with an IPS panel.

• A screen with a resolution of at least Full HD or higher
• Always an IPS panel
